Warm your French press with boiling water for 30 seconds and empty. This is recommended to extract optimal flavours from your brew.

Add 6 tablespoons of coffee and shake gently to level it out. Pour over 1,2 cups of hot water, it should be around 95’c, just below boiling point.

Add the rest of hot water to fill up the carafe. Cover with lid and let lower plunger slightly touch the water surface. Set your timer for four minutes and let your coffee brew.

Stir your brew gently and let breathe for 30 seconds.

Press the plunge down gradually and decant your coffee immediately to avoid bitterness.
